About
Hey, This is Rajat, a Computational Fluid Dynamics - CFD Engineer by profession and a Team Player by Heart. I am on the never-ending journey of exploring the beautiful CFD & Thermal Engineering field.
I decided to pursue Engineering when I was in 10th Standard because I was a Science & Technology loving person since my childhood. I started following Formula One Motorsports in 12th standard, that’s when I fell in love with Aerodynamic design. So, I decided to give my professional life a start with Mechanical Engineering. The decision which I am really proud of.
I joined Vellore Institute of Technology, got graduated as Mechanical Engineer in the year 2019. Since the beginning of my graduation, I was very fascinated by Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Engineering & CFD. I have always been crazy to find out what is happening behind the laptop screen while solving highly non-linear PDEs using the Finite Volume Method in CFD and then relate the result with Fluid Dynamics.
Another milestone for me was "Shaurya Racing", the Formula Racing team which I joined in 2nd year during my graduation which changed my perspective towards my career and gifted me with a passion. A passion to become a national champion at Formula Student Competition. Year on Year, we, as a Team of 20 members, designed and manufactured 3 Formula-Style Vehicles. I still remember I used to design parts on CAD, simulate them via CFD, and manufacture them in the garage. The garage, where I spent uncountable nights just to manufacture and see that car on 4 wheels. I used to work the whole night and day in the garage without taking any rest. The only driving force was my passion and hunger to see my team among the top scorers. In 2018, we secured the 12th national rank at Formula Bharat Competition. And finally, our hard work paid off and, in 2019, we secured 5th national rank at that Competition.
As an Aero-Thermal Engineer in Valeo (R&D center), I am doing what I love to do. I deal with Powertrain Electrical pro
