Control Volume analyses is about applying the laws of physics to a fixed volume in space through which mass can flow in and out. Laws of physics are generally defined for mass. Reynolds Transport Theorem (RTT) connects the laws of physics defined for a control mass to fixed volume in space which is called control Volume.
